Runs on OpenWrt for customization
Mudi V2 ships with AFI WIRELESS's OpenWrt-based firmware (product page references OpenWrt 22.03.x), giving you package management and thousands of community packages to extend the router from the admin panel—without giving up travel-friendly defaults.

Built-in VPN client support for OpenVPN and WireGuard helps keep sessions private on untrusted networks. AFI WIRELESS documents integrations with many commercial VPN brands—pick a subscription that fits your policy and paste profiles into the UI.
VPN server
Run Mudi V2 as a VPN server for secure remote access to a home or office LAN. It can operate as client and server concurrently when your use case requires both paths.
